A new collection from New Zealand Mint commemorates six characters from STAR WARS: A New Hope. This is the sixth and last of the foil note series, and features the Sith Lord, the one and only Darth Vader.


Coin Highlights:
  • Contains 0.1607 oz of .999 fine Silver.
  • Presented in a Star Wars themed protective sleeve. This note can be displayed in the collector's album, only available through purchase of the first foil note release, featuring Luke Skywalker.
  • Limited mintage of 50,000 notes.
  • Obverse: Displays the likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II along with the year, face value, year of issue and metal content.
  • Reverse: Features Darth Vader brandishing his Lightsaber in one image, and threatening a defiant Princess Leia in the other. The "STAR WARS: A New Hope" movie logo is also engraved on the note. The note features a combination of engraving and colorized printing. The note's mintage number is also printed on the note.
  • Guaranteed by the New Zealand Mint.
