This coin starts a new amazing series named Historic Trade Routes and contains 5 oz silver 9999 with antique finish and unique amber insert in the shape of a route. With the diameter of 80 mm, this huge coin comes housed in a high-quality book-box with a numbered badge. The worldwide mintage is limited to 500 pieces.

Represented on the obverse of the silver coin, there is the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Cameroon surrounded by the inscriptions denoting the face value of the coin as well as the name of the issuing country.

The reverse contains the map and names of the cities involved in an ancient trade. There is also a unique amber insert in the shape of a route. The names of the coin and series, as well as the issuing year, are perfectly fitted into the reverse design. The ancient Amber Trade Route began at the Baltic Coast where the amber was collected, and the amber would travel from this area toward Southern Europe. The earliest route went east and then along the Danube River to the Black Sea, where it would be shipped to the ancient Greeks.
