The Qilin also known as "Chinese unicorn" is one of the Four Benevolent Animals from the chinese mythology. It symbolizes luck, longevity and fertility. The name qilin is a combination from the male qi and the female lin. It was therefore considered a sign of "yin and yang" harmony and is often pictured in pairs. The silver coin shows the representation of a qilin surrounded by fire, water and an unicorn. The coin is housed in a classic display case within an illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
